Julie Chen Moonves will host the summer hit reality series Big Brother. The show returns to CBS on the 5th of August to begin its third season. Chen Moonves has been involved in The Talk since 2010, when she was both moderator and host. Her true love in life was writing. In fact, she received an Emmy. In addition, she won an Emmy for hosting and outstanding comedy talk show. The Talk examines contemporary events using the perspective of five female hostesses. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News' early morning news show The Early Show for a decade. Before that she was the CBS Morning News anchor and hosts of The Early Show. She was sent to Cairo following the 9/11 attacks and gave an exclusive and riveting conversation with the father of 9/11's main hijacker. Chen Moonves is a journalist who has worked with notable newsmakers such as the former New York City City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Queen Rania, the former defense secretary William Cohen and Denzel Washington. Chen Moonves is also a CBS Sunday Morning reporter, who has interviewed stars like Jamie Lee Curtis. Before The Early Show she was the reporter for WDTN TV Dayton which was based in Dayton in Ohio (1995-1997). She was a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the network's affiliate news service, and she was an assistant desk in ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991) as she completed her final year at the University of Southern California. As a desk-assistant for ABC News late night broadcast Nightline, she worked with Ted Koppel. He remains one her heroes in journalism. Chen Moonves worked with Koppel for the du-Pont-winning Columbia show on primetime, Anatomy of a Riot in 1992, which focused on the Los Angeles riots.
